President, White–Spunner Realty
MATT WHITE, president of White-Spunner Realty, has 18 years of experience with the firm, assisting in the continued expansion of the White-Spunner Realty managed asset base, which is capitalized by more than 200 investors strategically aligned by the White-Spunner family.
White also leads the company's strategy of continued growth of the asset portfolio that White-Spunner Realty manages, develops, buys and sells. Passion, patience, and persistence are hallmarks of his leadership. “I like to be intentional about what we set out to do,” White said. “This starts with being prepared and educated so when opportunity knocks, we’re ready.”
White graduated from the University of Alabama in 1992. He received a Certified Public Accountant’s license in 1994, practicing Public Accounting with two regional firms for seven years in Birmingham and Mobile, before joining White-Spunner in 1999. White became a principal of White-Spunner Realty, Inc., in 2004.
White serves on the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Advisors. He is a member of Economic Development Association of Alabama; Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance; the International Council of Shopping Centers; the national, Alabama and Mobile Area Association of Realtors. He previously served as chair of the Mobile Chamber of Commerce's Governmental Affairs Committee in 2011 and is a former member of the Prichard Preparatory School Board.
Matt, and his wife, Tandy, have four children: Sidney, Noah, Reagan, and Coleman.
