Mobile, Alabama (May 8, 2014) - Sharon Wright of White-Spunner Realty, Inc. has earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute, one of the leading commercial real estate associations in the world. The designation was recently awarded at the CCIM Institute spring meetings in Nashville.
Wright was among 187 commercial real estate professionals from around the country who earned the designation by passing the CCIM Comprehensive Examination, the final component in the designation process. Only about six percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners around the globe hold the CCIM designation, which reflects not only the caliber of the program, but why it is one of the most coveted and respected designations in the industry.
Sharon Wright has worked in real estate since 1992 and specializes in commercial sales, leasing and development with White-Spunner Realty. She is a leader in the real estate industry, having served as president for the Baldwin County Association of Realtors and recognized as a Realtor of the Year for the association. She now serves as state director for the Alabama Association of Realtors.
Matt White, President of White-Spunner Realty, said, “In order to be successful in the current commercial real estate arena, our industry is requiring a level of commitment exemplified by Sharon’s devoted time and focus required to obtain the CCIM designation. Sharon now finds herself among an elite group of commercial real estate practitioners, and we are proud of her.”
“My guiding philosophy is to treat people the way you want to be treated in business and in life. You need to be honest and passionate about what you do. I joined White-Spunner Realty because of the quality of the people and the outstanding reputation the company has earned for 60 years,” Wright said. “I appreciate the company’s support as I pursued the CCIM designation.”
